2005 Explorer rear hatch glass won't open
On our 2005 Explorer we recently notice the rear hatch glass will not unlock, therefore it will not open. You can hear a solenoid sound when using the remote control to activate the lock, but the window does not unlock. The lift gate works properly, i.e. remotely unlocks and will open.
Is there a simple fix (such as a solid fist thump in a vital place), and then once the glass is opened, how do I attempt to ensure no further failure?
