Hi, am looking for some help with my Explorer. I was driving when it went into limp mode and I pulled into a gas station and it would not move at all. The service engine soon light came on at the same time it went into limp mode. It wouldn't move at all, so I had it towed to my job, where another truck hit it. It got towed again to my bodyshop two weeks later where somehow it started moving again. Body repairs complete, I picked it up and went to Pep Boys where I got the code pulled. P2106 TAC system force limit power. Any ideas for inexpensive fix?
Also, would this cause the vehicle to stop moving once it stopped? and then miraculously move again? I am not mechanically inclined, so I am very nervous about the root of the problem. any ideas, advice would be greatly appreciated.
