2006 Ford Explore Making chirping noise when on the gas pedal
Hey I just recently purchased a 06 Ford Explorer. It is making a weird chirping noise while I'm driving. I notice that the noise will only occur when pressing the gas pedal. I know there's probably previous thread about it. Please help me out by pointing me to the right thread or any solutions about this? I've done a little googling and have found that it may be the cramshaft sensor? How can I test this? The noise doesn't seem to occur while the car is parked or idle. Also the noise disappear when I let go of the gas. Should I just return the car? Or is this something I can reasonably fix?

Not to give you additional cause for concern, but timing components can cause similar sounding problems. If that is involved , why not get an authentic diagnosis and the cost involve to correct , then consider your options ?
