Default 95 explorer cranks but no start

My SUV was driving fine and then pulled in a driveway and it died before I shut her down and now it won't start it cranks over just fine but won't fire. Wanted to get some advice on where to start. I can tell you this I do not hear the pump turn on.This is my first post but I am mechanical just not on cars I'm anairplane mechanic by trade.

First thing to check is to see if you have fuel pressure. Just depress the valve on the fuel rail schrader and see if you get a little spurt of fuel out. Then check the inertia switch located of the passenger side by where your feet would be, see if the red button is popped up or the connector at the bottom of it is disconnected. Two quick and easy checks for a start.
