I have a 99 Explorer Sport....the lights in the speedometer recently started dimming and now don't light up at all when the headlights are on. Are they just burned out, or is it something more? How do I go about replacing this?

Sounds like a problem with the dimmer control/module.. If 'all' the gauge illumination was dimmed and not just a dark area in one or more area/s, chances are the dimmer control is the issue...
