Default Cold Engine Idle

1997 Ford Explorer - 5.0 AWD

Won't idle (or drive properly) when the engine is cold. The AC Receiver Drier was JUST replaced and now I am experiencing this problem; as itdidn't happen before the repair. Is it possible that something was knocked loose during the drier install?

No check engine light and drives perfect at normal operating temperature.

Thanks in advance for your reply(s)

Default RE: Cold Engine Idle

Did they disconnect the battery for the install? If so you need to drive the vehicle around for awhile to let the ECM relearn. If not disconnect the battery for 20 minutes then reconnect and drive it around for 20 miles so it can relearn.
