for the past two weeks, I have been looking at SUV's and it has come down to a ford explorer or a dodge durango. on the dodge forum i have read a lot about the engine of the durango stalling very frequently and no apparent way to really fix it. this has turned me away from the durango because that is not something i want to deal with. i understand that every model car will have its problems but the durango seems to be happening too much and dodge/ chrysler wont deal with it. so my question is pretty general and just for research. I am wondering how well the explorer engine works and if there have been any reall large problems with it like i have seen in the durango. any posts to help my decision would be great.
