1983 F150 XLS Dashboard/Heater lights dim

I noticed over the years the lights have slowly lost their brightness even after turning rheostat all the way up on light switch. Before I start tearing into dash, are their basically just small bulbs to replace? Thanks!

Should be just regular # 194's . If you can find 168's they are a little brighter.
