1987 f-150 help
Hello all,
I just recently pick this truck up and am having a really weird issue that I just cannot seem to solve. Any help would be great before I finish pulling the rest of my hair out. Ok the problem is this under light acceleration the car starts to bog down and if I don't get into the throttle it will stall. If it does stall it will start right back up and be no problems as long as I get into the throttle. I can also get it to stall consistantly if I turn the wheels to the right til the reach the stops at which point if I hold it there it will stall.
Well here is what I've done so far... new wires, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, iac valve, I think all of the vacuum lines. I have also sprayed an entire can of throttle body cleaner into the tb while it was running. Dumbed a container of chevron into the tank and ran 1/3 can of seafoam through the vacuum lines.
Engine vacuum at idle in park is 20 and it is stable. Drops to about 15 in drive with the brake pedal pushed.
Ok now the coffe can was rusted beyond use so I just bypassed it.
Only other thing I can think of is when I press the brake pedal, it feels like the rotors are warped.
Any advice or help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance,
Tony
