Started my truck this morning let in warmup. Turned truck around and start driving out of my driveway. Going up my icy slope the truck hesitated and then cut off. Have tried to start but no luck. Truck will turn over and if I spray starter fluid in hoses coming off breather box truck tries to run but real ruff.

When I turn the key to start the truck I hear the fuel pump for a second then it cuts off. This happens on both tanks. Also the truck has a 5.0 302.

Any ideas???

 

try putting some new fuel in and some octane booster or some kind of fuel treatment in the fuel you might have some water or ice in the lines

 

added fuel and additive, no luck, but lifted coil wire off of distributor and used a screw driver to ground to motor saw no spark. Does this truck have a computer box? If so where is it located?

Will a bad TFI module cause the truck not to start? I had a buddy say that might be the problem. What happen when this module starts to go bad or goes bad. I know that 3 different times during the last month when driving to work at night the check engine light came on for just a short time like 3 mins. and then went out. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
