Default Lean vacuum leaks both banks 01 F150 4.6

I have an 01 F150 4.6 4x4 super crew xlt. Check engine light came on the other day we hooked it up ran the codes don't know the actual code but end result lean vac leak in both banks. Talked to a tech that's a buddy he said probably the PVC hose. Is this the problem? I don't know. I'm very busy father of two and have more than enough to do and I do not have a lot of time to hunt leaks, I'll make time but I'm wondering if any of y'all seen or delt with this to save some time. Thanks for your time

The suggestion you received makes good sense. Before doing anything else, good practice includes good visual inspection first. You may find something simple that is the cause of the problem. Loose or cracked vacuum hoses are pretty easy to find if you know where to look, so take your time and check thoroughly, it is a cheap step and can pay big dividends.
