Hello, I recently purchased 2004 F150 with 108,000 miles with the 5.4L 3V Triton which was a nightmare of its own. Now after doing some research I ended up with the problem year triton. I noticed the diesel like sound when the engine gets hot. Sometimes it sounds louder than others. I have read about the cam phasers, but I'm not sure. I am posting a link to a video of the truck. Any ideas would be great, also is this just the normal noise from these motors?
