2008 F-150 Supercrew Dome Light lights by itself
All,
About 2 months ago my dome/cabin lights started coming on without the switch being touched. It will stay on 5-10 seconds then go off. The lights work great if I use the switch to turn them on/off and they work properly when the doors open and close.
Any thoughts as to where I can get a wiring diagram of this circuit to troubleshoot.
Thanks for any help.

There are no warnings of anykind. The door ajar warning works great if I purposely leave a door a little open and the light does come on along with the indicator.

Finally getting around to working this issue.
Same indications still exist. The interior dome lights will come on for no reason.
I have replaced the switch assembly with no change in indication. I did figure out that when the interior lights come on, if i tap the switch assembly with the palm of my hand the lights will turn off, leaving me to think that there may be a loose connection in the harness to the switch assembly. I have not been able to locate a loose wire.
Then, last night, i noticed that my dash lights will not illuminate and the high beams will not illuminate if I push the light which forward. But, if I pull the light switch backwards then the high beams work.
I have checked fuse 35 and it is not blown.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
