2010 F-150 XLT won't start
My 2010 F-150 XLT, 5.4 v8 won't start. It started, then stalled and when I tried to restart it kept trying to turn over even when I let go of the key. The only way to keep it from trying to turn over was to completely shut it off. Battery may have been a little low and I've had weird things happen b4 when the battery was low so I'm hoping that is the case but the whole trying to turn itself over thing is scaring me... Looking for experienced help please, thank you.

When starter relay contacts get very hot due to excessive current flow usually because the battery is weak or starter load is excessive those contacts will partially weld themselves together and continue starter operation until either the battery goes dead, the relay opens,or the starter overheats and that vicious spiral continues until something burns up. You might consider replacing the starter relay as part of the correction.
