Default bigger tires

i'm lookin to put some bigger tires on my 91 f-150, its stock no current lift kit on it. I was wondering if anyone got away with putting 33's on without too much rubbing, or maybe 32's well any opinions would be appreciated.

Default RE: bigger tires

I fit some nice 32" off road tires (800.00) on my stock height 4x4 1990 with zero problem, the shop I went to said 33 would rub when turning tight off road but if I just wanted to be a dork and put big tires on it for street use I could cram 33" and drive like a granny. otherwise I should lift it with a pro kit arround 1500-2000 and go with 34-36(another 1500-2000) which when I looked at a truck with 36" tires I got a little vertigo, the roof is about 11-12' off the surface, just climbing in it is a workout, but man do you look cool once you get in. the 32" tires get me just about anywhere any sensible driver would want to go, so unless you want to do a litle rock climbing. the 32" tires fit nicely at least in the brand I got, not all are the exact same size just like shoes. (assumung its the 4x4 suspension) I have a buddy who has a 2wd with 31" tires squeezed in the fenders, he likes the extra clearance for driving logging roads.
