module and it seems like that is probably my problem also.my problem is the door ajar lite stays on sometimes and sometimes my interior and exterior lite (bed lite on back of cab)will stay on for various lenghts of time when I exit the truck.when the door ajar lite is on theinterior lite stays on longer than usual but will go out eventually even if door ajar light is still on.my power mirrors do not work and the power seat will not go back and forth but the up and down buttons work I don't know if this has anything to do with the other problems or not also I put a aftermarket radio in but it seems to work fine my question is where is the bcm module on a 1997
