Default Black smoke

97 ford f150 v6 4x4, idles fine, blows black smoke, no power when give it gas. New fuel pressure regulator is on it. Would bad o2 sensors cause this? Or bad fuel injectors? Any help would be aprreciated.

Have you checked your tps? What about your MAF? Fuel filter? How thick is the black smoke? Alot or a little? How many miles? Etc.

Need more info to help!

Default more info

Its at the muffler shop now waiting to see if the catalytic converter companie will honor its warranty. All 4 converters are clogged with black carbon. disconnect at the manifold and it runs fine. 118,000 miles, so i think it might be fuel injector. It was on a engine analyzer and nothing was bad. Does have bad o2 sensor code. So i will replace them. But not quite sure how to check the fuel injectors myself. Thanks alot
