I was told by my local ford dealer that if I install the in dash ford brake controller it will void my new truck warrenty. My truck has the towing package installed. Just did not come with the in dash controller. I don't want to install an after market controller.

 

If the in dash controller was an option and there is a place to install it, it should not void your warranty. Only problem is they may need to install it to have the warranty. Call Fors's customer support and speak to the rep for your area. They can tell you exactly what can be done.
