How do I remove the radio in a 2006 ford f150 xl?

Default How do I remove the radio in a 2006 ford f150 xl?

I want to put in a new radio and I don't see any way to remove it. Can someone please tell me how to remove the radio. Thanks!

Remove the Ash Tray Dish (Makes it a little easier) Pull the bottom right corner of the dash Panel. You will hear 1 clip snap out of place. Pull the lower left corner of the panel. Then 2nd clip will come out of place. Slowly pull the panel from the sides, starting with the bottom and working your way up. It will sound like its going to break but slowly pull on it its just the snaps you are hearing from the clips holding it in place. You will feel a total of 3-4 clips on each side pop out. Remove the wire that goes to the "passanger airbag light” Be extra careful wire does not have alot of slack in it. Then you will see 4 screws that let you remove your radio. Hope this helps
