lower ball joint
#2
Don't know if it can be done with a regular "C" clamp. The tool that I use is a type of c clamp but it's pretty tough and is made for the job. Maybe you might be able to rent the proper tool from one of the auto stores or even a tool rental place. It's much easier with the right tools. There are different sizes of "cups" that you would use to remove and install the ball joint.
