Default New truck question

I am looking at buying a 2002 F-150 supercrew 4x4 with the 5.4L in it. It was origanally my bosses wifes truck so it was never abused, and it has 200,000 miles on it. He has replaced 3 of the 8 coils and has had some rear-end work as well other then that the truck has been a good truck. I personally know the mechanic thats done all the work to this truck and he says its a reliable truck however my uncle which works at a car shop says with that many miles he would stay away. My uncle had mentioned something about timing chains and all that business, however I can't seem to find anything online about the timing chains. My boss is asking 5000$ for the truck and I'm curious if thats a decent price or I should stay away with that many miles. Any help would be great also any more common issues that go along with these trucks would be great!
