Default next vehicle is a horse

My next vehicle will be a horse. It the horse has problems I can just shoot it. even might be cheaper.....My 99 ford 150, v8 triton 4 wheel drive truck will not start. I have changed the battery, starter, solenoids. Nothing. But I had inside lights, dash light, radio, and power windows. So next I changed the battery cable. Now I have nothing. I do get a click when turning the key. but that's about it. Any help, words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading my post.

It is after all a 1999 and we don't know how many miles are on the clock or how many times it has been started so there is a good possibility there is a problem with the starter itself. Try this , go under the vehicle and give the starter a rap or two and see if it starts then. after that you will need to do a little electrical checking to pin down the problem area. It's not rocket science, but you can walk away from it for a cup of coffee whereas you can't just leave your horse now , can you? These days it may just be cheaper to feed a horse than feed a hungry truck.

Does this vehicle by any chance have a security system?
