I guess my real question is will heads from a Mustang fit?
Yes I'm trying to get more HP, but had to buy my little girl
a car for school so trying to do it cheap.

Heads from a Mustang will fit, but if you are using the head and all of it's components I believe the stock H.O. rockers will push the valves down further and you may need dished pistons. You can for sure set them in place and check.
