Default rough idle

92 f150. i was recently in an accident with damage to the front of my truck. question is, would a bent fan make the engine idle roughly? i sort of feels like it is the fan just because it feels like the engine is moving back and forth but not crazy. its not and engine mount. basically just wanna know if the bent fan would cause rough idle

Bent fan shouldn't cause rough idle, but it could cause some shaking.

You could take the belt off and start the engine for a few seconds to see if it still does it. That will give you your answer. Don't run it too long, because you are running without your fan (obviously) and your water pump.

Let us know how it goes. May be a good time to take out the belt driven fan and put in an electric since you need a new radiator, too. That will save you money at the gas pump and give a few extra hp's, too.
