Suspension/leveling Questions

Suspension/leveling Questions
I am looking for any guidance or suggestions on leveling my wife's 2011
F-150 Lariat Limited.
I want to get rid of the Low profile tires (Scorpion Pirelli...Junk) and put a good All-Terrain (AT) tire on it. The problem is the Lariat Limited comes with a really nice wheel that are 22 inch which obviously limits my options on AT tires.
Looks like the Nitto Terra Grappler is the direction I am going (285/55/R22) but I will need to get the rake out.
Obviously, in order to put more tire under the truck, and without screwing it all up with a lift, looks like my best option is to put a Leveling Kit or an adjustable shock on the truck. This is where I am looking for guidance. I know I can get 1000 different opinions out there, but what is the best direction to go?
From the research I have done, it appears going with an adjustable shock is the best option for both accomplishing the stance and the ride desired!
The direction I look to be going with based on my research is:
Adjustable Shock (Bilstein 5100, ProComp, Rancho???) with a new rear shock as well a Firestone Coil Rite for towing purposes.
What are your ideas and suggestions and guidance?
-Adjustable shock choice...i.e. Bilstein 5100, ProComps, Rancho??? to include a rear shock set up with Firestone Coil Rite (when I do put a heavy trailer on it)?
-Tire choice....Nitto Terra Grappler 285/55/R22
Thanks guys. I will await the opionions and guidance you can provide!
