I have had a steering box replaced at 46000 and all new lines
Three weeks ago 60000 miles I had leaking lines again and had them replaced as I drove home the pump started making noise I called and made a new appointment
Ford told me they thought it might be the gearbox again letting air in
So they cleaned everything up and told me to come back in a week ‘
I did though I only drove it less then 50 miles I returned with the pump making even more noise so they finally decided it was the pump and a small leak somewhere? wasn’t told where
Went though my extended warranty they declined it said because I drove it for a week with a leak
1. Wondering if anyone else is having these problems
2. After reading some others forums here if it is possible that the system wasn’t bled correctly ? Or if anyone has any solutions to this problem just seams like there must be a problem with this system as you see I don’t have many miles on this truck and it isn’t worked hard ’

I had my truck in for diagnosis a week and a half ago. Just had to wait for my extended warranty coverage to be verified, my truck is booked in for tomorrow morning. I had originally thought it was my p/s pump as is was turning hard even when reved up, and had to be two handed when sitting still, along with I not returning to center, I thought there was a pressure centering valve not working or something, but Ford dealer says it is the steering gear that is problem, so I guess I will find out tomorrow. I will let you know what happens.
