Default 1989 F250 Won't start, I think I have tried everything!

My truck ran great but after stopping in town to talk to a buddy my engine would not restart. I have a 1989 F250 5.0L, Dual tanks but only use front one. Freshly cleaned fuel tank, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new fuel filter relay, checked inertia switch and new starter solenoid. The pumps do not pump when ignition is turned on. Truck turns over and fires when spraying starting fluid. No fuel getting to the fuel rail. The pump in the tank and high pressure fuel pump turn on when directly wired to battery and seem to work properly. In the tank selector switch I have crossed the Red wire and Red wire with Yellow stripe and that has not produced any results. Could the mechanical tank selector be stuck?
I thank you for any help or ideas.

I am eliminating the mechanical tank selector and the rear tank. Please, you must have some other ideas to try.

Well I eliminated the rear tank and fuel selector. It is really wierd because my truck starts occasionally, but when turned off usually won't restart. I can tell when it will start because I hear the fuel pumps pump for 1 second when I turn the ignition on. I think I am dealing with an electrical problem. Maybe I need to replace the fuel injection computer module. Does anyone know where it is or what it looks like.

Try replacing the pickup module in the bottom of your distributer.
