2000 F350 7.3L Diesel Truck will not start. The truck totally died pulling into a driveway. Originally the fuel pump was not working and the wait to start light was not on. Replaced the computer module and the fuel heater. After checking many things, finally the wait to start light comes on. The fuel pump is running and the truck cranks but will not start. Any suggestions.

 

I went to the dealer today, cause my '04 f250 diesel will start great cold, but after running around town, it has a hard time starting when its warm, he said that there may be an injector leak, or a high pressure leak, and that may be the reason that my truck is having to crank alot before finally starting, and that either one of two things will happen; one it wont get worse but will continue to have the problem, or two it will get worse and eventually not start or die at a stop light because there wont be enough pressure going through the engine to start it. Have you been having issues with it cranking alot before it finally starts? if so you may have a similar problem. If not the same problem, could anybody give me any suggestions as to what else it may be that is going on with this guys truck or mine? Thanks.
