The complete instrument finish panel needs to be removed.. Snaps to the dash, and then the electrical connectors removed.. Then remove the attachment screws connector ect. to remove the radio..

Thanks for the response. How do I get the instrument finish panel off? Are there any photos to show the clips or attachment points? The wiring is a piece of cake I'm afraid of breaking the instrument panel.

Thanks

The finish panel removal is really fairly easy.. I usually start at the left side, andpull straight 'outward' on the panel, working my way around 'evenly'.. Pull only far enough to release the clips.. It's pretty solid, and can easily be done by hand, or if you have a hook ect. you can slide it around the back for a gentle pull and release more at the clip/attachment points.. The area close to the steering column sometimes has the hardest release since the area to pull is harder to grab, and you don't want to bow, use the panel as leverage to getit loose there.. If your just pulling the radio, once the finish panel is loose, you can lift the panel on the passenger end and support it, so not to have to release all the connections.. Some have connector locks.. Here an exploded view of the dash ect. I marked 'most' of the clip points..
