2004 f350 No Trailer Lights
Howdy all, newbie here..
I have a 2004 F350 FX4.. I have been pulling a gooseneck trailer for 3 years. Last year, I pigtailed into the 7 pole receptacle at the bumper, and added a 7 way receptacle in the bed. It hs worked perfectly for a year.. ButI hooked up to the trailer last week. I HAVE NO LIGHTS on the trailer now.. I have no power for lights at either receptacle. I have trailer brakes though, but that is it.. I have no blown fuses in the box under the dash... Is there an in line fuse under the hood, that will power everything?? Please help me...
without lights in wolfe city, TX...

Okay, I figured out that this is the one under the dash.... I have power at all fuses (both sides) in this fuse block... But I still have no power at the trailer receptacles. I believe that if there was an inline type fuse under the hood, it would cut the power to the fuse block under the dash. But I have power under the dash, but the only power I have in the trailer receptacle, is the trailer brake post..
I am baffled !!

The reason I asked about the park lamps is that their on a seperate relay/circuit/fuse (F2.7 15amp and F2.38 for the relay) than the stop/turns for trailer function.. The relay for the park lamps is in the CJB (central junction box) and its controlled by the main headlight switch, and when turned on, closes the relay and puts voltage to the trailer park/running lights.. And the stop/turn/hazards run through the multi function switch, flasher, (F2.18 20amp and F2.27 15amp) then out to the relay box under the hood (Gas or diesel?) Chances of more than one relay failure would be slim.. But even if a fuse or the flasher/multi function switch being bad shouldn't affect the running/park lamps ect. or multipal light problems. I'm looking for a 'common' link for a failure.. Do you have a test light? Let me know if it's a gas/diesel..

It's a diesel 6.0.. Sorry for not specifying..
Again, it has worked numerous times over the past year or so.. But I hooked up to it the other day and wham, nothing..
Yes sir, I do have a test light.. Let me know what to check and I'll do it..
Or shoot me a PM with a phone number if possible, and I'll give you a call directly..
thanks !!

Open the hood, and on the left/drivers side up close to the firewallat the inner fender area, will be a relay box. Turn the key ON, and turn on the right or left turn indicator or both directions and listen.. Do you hear 'either' the right/left trailer lamp relay clicking? Should be easy to hear... Sent you a PM as well..
