Exclamation Can't afford the fuel fillers, nevermind the fuel.

I'm looking for two fuel filler necks and hoses for my 1997 F -250HD with a 5.8L and GVW over 8500#. I can't find them in the chain stores so I went to the Ford Parts people. They want $ 672.69 for the necks and hoses. Silver State Ford has them for $372.43 which is still wacked! I bought new tanks, straps, and pumps for the truck and didn't spend that much. I can't convert the 5.4L hoses because they are a different diameter hose and won't match up to the tanks. They also have a seperate vent pipe on the 5.4. These have a smaller hose within a large hose. The larger hose is the vent pipe, the fuel goes in thru the smaller pipe. If anyone has any idea where I could purchase these, it would be greatly appreciated. $672.69 ????

Ok guys, with alot of research, and alot of frustration, I managed to find the fuel filler necks at a more reasonable price. The name of the company is " Fuel Filler Necks & Hoses " @ www.fillernecksupply.com . Free shipping in the U.S. and a 3% discount for online purchases. They care all makes, models, and years. So for you older T-Bird and Mustang guys, here you go.

Final Price: $165.00
