2008 Ford f-350 won't start???
Ok i have a question or maybe a few I have a 2008 ford f-350 6.4 powerstroke just had ecm replaced because old one got wiped out some how. But it still won't start. They said the gauge cluster is bad but it lights up when its running all the gauges work. If they reflash the cluster it will start right up. but after you shut it off then try starting it everything will light up like it usually did but it just clicks. the little security light will flash a few times when the key is on the first click when you turn the key. Anybody have an idea what it could be? I've only had the pickup 18 days and i only got to drive it 8 of the days. I'm getting frustrated with it. Thanks

Your vehicle has a group /series of modules that all report to the Powertrain control module. The modules get info from various sensors and depending on what info is received, instructions are issued to control various functions. The instrument cluster is one of those modules . Special scan tools can check "module health" and determine if there is any problem based on info rec'd. If a capable scan tool has determined the problem resides in the instrument cluster, there is not too much that can be done than to replace and program the replacement cluster if it is not functioning correctly. This may not be the problem here, but some further checking would be required to confirm if that is the case.
