Default 2012 f350 and f550 gutless

Hello the place I work at has recently bought an f350 and a f550 diesels
they have about 700 miles on them and are both automatic, these machines are very nice but have no power, both of them can be floored without a load and there is next to no acceleration.

The other day I took the 550 to haul a load of hay and some of the hills I went which aren't really steep would drop be down to about 30mph.

I think it has the 6.7, does this thing have a really terrible torque curve or what???

Also would a chip help me?

I just finished reading through a power stroke diesel forum and they were talking about how much amazing power there 6.7s have.

The small truck was local but the big one came from Florida is it possible they both have problems?

Default Same happened to me last week...

Lost power pulling 27' interstate enclosed trailer with four snow machines. Went into "limp home" mode. Next day, dealer advised me it was a simple fix and still under warranty (2010 F350 - 5 year/100,00 powertrain).

Maintenance supervisor told me they regenerated my turbo (don't know what that means - but no problems since.

Hope this helps.
