Default transmission slip F350

I have a 1999 F350 4X4 6.8 v10
just had the tranny rebuilt about 2000 miles ago .
the tanny shifts great until the over drive light starts blinking then the tranny starts to slip turn the truck off and back on and it goes back to perfect .

dose any one have any ideas

The conditions at the time it starts to act up are important for a decent diagnosis.
Since it should have some kind of warranty by the rebuilder, best to have them check it out.

thanks for getting back to me .


It acts up randomly I can be in the gas all day and nothing happens , can be pulling a trailer and nothing happen some times it stays off for a few weeks and comes back on turn truck off and back on and good for a while.
but I have notised that it dose it most of the time when I granny the truck drive slow and take off slow .
not sure if that will give you any ideas .

do you think that the speed senser could possabley have any thing to do with it , also changing the valve body on the tranny ?

Default any comments on adding turbo to F350 v10

I was looking at adding a turbo to my 1999 F350 6.8 v10 .
do you think this is a good idea ?
would it cause any problems ?
any input would be welcome .
