I just bought this truck a week ago. When I drive it for long distances ( maybe 30 miles or more ) when I turn it off it won't start again, I don't hear the whirrling of the fuel pump priming. I have checked power at the box under the hood, I have checked power to the plug right before the pump, I have bypassed through the EEC and the pump will still function. I just don't know the next step in diagnosing or repairing this problem. I have thought of looking at the ground, but where does it ground too? If there was a faulty ground would the bypass through the EEC still work? This is driving me batty! please help!
