Default 95 gauge cluster in a 93 f-series

Help..
I own a 93 f-350 with the 5.8. The truck did not come with a tach in the gauge cluster, So i went to my local salavge yard and grabed a cluster out of a 95 f-150 ( i think. The badges were off thetruck) with the 5.8. and a tac. When i plugged everything in the only gauge that did not work was the volt, and my charging system quit working. Very odd. I heard that you may have to swap a couple of wires in between the plugs to get that to work? Has anyone ever done this or know what to do ?

Thanks
