Default Bleeder valve for 6.4l

Hey I made a fuel bleeder valve with a banjo bolt for my 2008 Ford F-250 SuperDuty. I'm all set to bleed from the high side though the banjo bolt and the Schrader valve on the low side I'm just confused how once I am done bleeding and go to reinstall the banjo bolt without the hose fitting it won't just fill back up with air? Will this not be a problem and I'm just over thinking it idk. Can't get the ol girl to start up. The only codes I'm getting are p1000 and p0703 she turns over turns over but won't start. No tune. Puzzled
