Default Blinkers gone wild

Both blinkers come on whenever I turn on the left blinker, both blinkers also come on when I turn on the right blinker. The blinkers blink faster when I hit the brake? Any thoughts? Thanks, Mike

You have to excuse me , I'm not that sharp to figure out just what you mean by "blinker".
I gather you mean the signal lights, but do you mean the dash indicator or just the the outside lights front and rear or both plus the dash indicators? If you could be a little more specific it would help a lot, thanks.

Would help also if we knew if your vehicle had separate lights for rear signals or does it use the rear stoplite for a signal lamp also. Year and model would also be helpful.

No, not the turn signals! When I say blinker, I mean the brakes. Hope that helps.

So that anyone else and I can maybe be of any help and all of us be on the same page so to speak, brake lights are called "stop lights" and signal lights are usually called signal or blinkers.
Now hopefully , you can provide some addl info.
Just from what you have told us so far, It does sound like there is a poor ground connection for the lights at the rear. Can you check that out and see what you find?

I’m having problems with my 2012 f150 with the blinker turn signal light passenger side. Changed bulbs and check the fuses under the hood. Still have a blinker turning problem. Just blinks really fast. Any suggestions

Can you see what the passenger side front signal light is doing when it should be blinking with the rear? Sounds like the bulb up there went south.
