Default A/C Problems

My a/c has been out for a while now and I finally diagnosed it as a bad compressor. I replaced the compressor and had a shop evacuate and recharge the system for me. The good news is that it is now blowing really cold air! The bad news is that it is only blowing out of the defroster. While diagnosing the a/c problem, I know that I shorted out the power supply to the vacuum (don't ask.. I am an idiot!). The problem is that it did not blow a fuse. So I assume that I have a problem somewhere between the fuse and the pigtail power supply on the vacuum. Any ideas on how to locate where the electrical problem is?? I tested the power supply and it is not getting any power at the vacuum. Any help would be appreciated.
