Carburetor trouble
I have a 72 f250 with a weber carb. I don't drive it very often. Over the last few months while driving it would act like it's running out of gas for a couple minutes then be fine. Last trip out it was doing terrible then finally had to tow it home. Acts like it wants to start but runs terrible and dies. I looked into carb while moving the throttle, fuel wasn't spraying, it was dribbling. Can anyone point me in the right direction please

It does sound like the float needle and seat have a piece of dirt stuck in the seating area. That is assuming too much fuel was running into the throat.
On the other hand, if not enough fuel is getting up to the carb there could be a plugged fuel filter, water contaminated gas , or possibly a weak fuel pump.
If you dumped a small amount (shotglass) of gas into the carb and then go in and try to start it. If it started momentarily then it most likely would be a fuel starvation condition. You always need to be extra careful with gasoline around carburetors because if too lean it could produce a backfire back up into the air cleaner or venturi. If you are going to try this , do it outside away from any buildings .
