Default F 350 V-8 HPOP and Engine oil change

When I change the oil in the engine and the filter will the HPOP oil also be drained out?

How often do you change the oil in the HPOP?
Thank you.

No..

HPOP won't drain. Not necessary. HPOP is fed/spplied low pressure oil from the base oil pump and returned there. Best just to change the oil on a regular interval basis. If the HPOP were dry/drained, you'd have to do some extended cranking to not only oil fill the HPOP reservoir, but would introduce air into the high pressure oil system causing rough conditions until the air purges...

Hayapower,
OK. Thank you for the input.
I'm still getting to know this truck..a far cry from my 81 Isuzu diesel (4cly) PuP (AKA Chevy LUV). :-)
