Default F250 Air Conditioner problem

Does anyone have any other ideas? We have replaced the high and low pressure switches. Totally drained and recharged the system. What happens is the AC will blow cold for a while then it goes hot, then after a few minutes will go cold again, then hot. It is a vicious cycle. We had an AC guy look at it and the compressor is working and he doesn't have any other ideas. Do any of you guy have any other ideas?

Did you drain and recharge with a vacuum pump and pull a vacuum for at least 45 minutes then recharge? If not there is a good chance you have moisture in the system.

Does the compressor cycle at all any time? Does the magnetic clutch always stay engaged? Did they use a set of A/C system gauges ? What readings did they get when pulling the vacuum?
I hate to have to tell you this , but the A/C guy could have done better than that !!!

Default 2011 f250 PS AIR CONDITIONING ISSUE

AC on my 2011 f250 Powerstroke has gone bad. Blowing hot air. Dealer tells me it's a 'temp sensor' (60 dollar part) that needs to be replaced. 1,800 $ WORTH OF LABOR, as the dash needs to be removed. REALLY? Out of warranty, so now I drive a 60,000 dollar truck with the windows down. Anyone have any light they can shed on this? painful...

Like anything else, you might get a 2nd & 3rd opinion.

Default 2011 F250 start issue

I recently replaced an exhaust sensor (due to the truck shutting off while driving). Since I brought my truck home after the fix, it now turns over but does not start. 1 battery has been replaced per mechanic. Any suggestions on what the problem is? I feel purchasing this truck brand new was a huge mistake!
