If i were you i would look under your truck it might have your radius arms riveted to the frame just a heads up. ive been thinking about replacing my radius arms with longer custom beams and arms while im at it i will punch out the bracket mounting holes to my desired bolt size just to make it that much easier the next 200,000 mile service. bust out the measuring tape to see how your axle and suspension will fit up in the some fabrication may be needed.

to be honest buying a 4x4 would be the easiest way about going about it if you are attached the the body that sits on your current frame you could swap out bodys. But im sure your as stubborn as i am (currently testing my own custom digital transistorized ignition system for my 75 honda 750k which has already been done..) I would suggest going to Fullsizebronco forums MANY people have technical write ups on the way they did it with IFS and solid axle swaps.

I can understand converting a truck to 4x4, but a car would just be a waste of good parts imo so i wont get into that. what i will say is that if indeed you did want a 4x4 car THE best way go about it is finding a 4x4 chassis of your choice and fab up some new body mounts to accomodate the car along with re-engineering and fabbing the steering system way too much work for no gain (upper hand) over a truck. Im into creating frankenstein vehicles (my old 91 bronco i converted to cummins) but a car truck has been done before..

no build thread. Unfortunatley she is no longer with us battery acid was thrown alll over everything after some dune bashing, replaced all the plastic vacuum lines and stuff ( i had a 2 hour trip on the free way to drive home) Got 15 minutes from my home and she went up in flames, acid got down into the wireing harness and shorted the **** out of everything. It was a pretty simple swap though if you have fabrication cababilities..
