Hey guys... first day at ford forum.
So I just bought a beautiful van. 2008 E-350... only 45,000km (30,000 miles).
Anyway, I live way up in northern ontario canada and we don't have a lot of street lights.
My low beams seemed dim and my high beams were worse. Lenses on my lights were fine. So I installed a nice set up HID's. My low beams are a lot nicer now but my high beams are still awful... same as before. Almost like something is blocking the light from getting out.

Here are two questions.
What is the name of that tube thing that rests directly in front of the bulb inside of my light case. Here is a picture.
Am I allowed to remove it?
