Default Next step for 2005 f250xl Help

I have a f250 2005 xl 4 wheel drive 4 door - its an awesome truck .
It has a 6.0 with 233,000 miles on it .
Now i love this truck but i do not like the problems the 6.0 comes with .
It runs great , no smoke , good easy cold cranks .
Problem it will use and injector now and again and im terrified to drive it very far out of town .
Next problem , it took me 7 hours just to replace the number 4 injector .
The engine is packed under the hood so dang tight .
Im at a road crossing ,
Do i sale this truck which i absolutly love ??????.
I like it because it drive great , i can hose out the inside , its has tons of room .
I just like the truck .
OR -------
Or do i yank the engine and tranny and reinstall new ones .Problem is i think only another 6.0 will fit in it ... BUMMER

Does anyone have any advice ?

Is there a company making bomb proof 6.0s ????

I got to do something soon because i want to be able to feel safe driving this thing about 4 hours from the shop whenever i want .

So far im leanning toward selling it and finding something with a 7.3 in it .

Help .........

Thanks for the support..

You shouldn't be loosing injectors on a regular bassis.. Are you running any blended fuels? and if so what ratio? Has your truck had the latest programming for the 'buzz' or extended injector cycling?

7.3 is an option, or a reman 6.0.. You could also do the Cummins conversion if unsatified with the Navistars..

"7.3 is an option, or a reman 6.0.. You could also do the Cummins conversion if unsatified with the Navistars"

Where can i learn about doing the Cummins conversion .
And you are saying i could get a 7.3 to fit in there ?
I only want to lift the cab off this baby once .
No im not runnning blended fuels .

How much is fair price for a mechanic to replace all of the injectors ?

The engine being in there so tight is one main reason im thinking of selling , i just cant work on it ,, well barely .
The number 4 injectors was a nightmare for me , im not the best mechanic around .

Its so strange how they shoved the engine under the dash like that .

An injector 'now and again' how many? Who's reman injector/s? Latest calibration was done?

A reman 6.0 would be the best bet if it got to that.. 7.3 conversion wouldn't be an option, but may be if traded off.. A Cummins conversion probably not worth the cost, but is possible.. http://www.fordcummins.com/
