Default No idea what I'm what doing- Fuel line

I drive a 99 250 diesel. Other then being hard to start on cold mornings I normally have no problems with it. Until yesterday when I am told my fuel line (not sure if there is more then one but it is the one that goes from the back of the fuel filter housing to the passenger side cylinder head) is busted and there is fuel pooling either in or around the engine. I ordered the part from ford but now have no one to switch it for me. I have a general knowledge of mechanics. My father taught me as a kid but I have never done anything like this alone. Is it possible and could any one give me any helpful advice? Thank you.

If there is a turbo on this engine, which there probably is, that line is going to be a stinker to replace. Before you dive into it , try to get a few estimates to have it replaced.

It does have a turbo on it. Shoot. I was really hoping to be able to do this myself. I can't afford to send it in and I just spent $67 on the line itself.
