Replacing Clutch Slave Cylinder
Folks, kindly advise how to change the clutch slave cylinder on my 1988 F250 pick up. I notice that the pipe end is not threaded. Secondly, what is the procedure for bleeding the brakes and the clutch hydraulic?
Thanks.
Thanks.

RE: Replacing Clutch Slave Cylinder
hi, you must use a thin punch to remove the small roll pin that attaches the slave cylinder to the fluid line -the new cylinder will come with a new oring and roll pin-fill the master cylinder resivoir and gravity bleed the the slave cylinder(small allen screw on top)pump ALOT to bleed all the air from the system keep checking to make sure the master cylinder does not run out of fluid
