Shuttering Noise

Shuttering Noise
I have a 2004 f-250 superduty with 100,000 miles on it. When I try to turn the truck it makes a suttering noise and I can't pin point the location. What could it be? Wheel bearing, hubs, limited slip not fuction properly? I've owned this truck since new and this noise just started. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Nick

If it gets worse the tighter the turn, same symtoms in both directions, and not present turning at higher speed turns it could be the limited slip clutch not releasing or dragging.. As a first step, you might pull the rear diff plug and look for any 'excessive' suspended metals in the lube, debris collected on the plug, and/or abnormal amounts of friction material in the lube and a strong burnt smell to the lube.. At 100K and depending on what you use the truck for it may be ready for a lube change if it hasn't been done already.. Or, you could add another bottle of friction modifier to the current lube to see if the concern improves, or corrects the shudder completely.. Then, have the diff serviced just to be certain, more so and if the truck tows often, or heavy/servere use.. The service interval for towing and heavy service is 60K..
Is this a ESOF 4x4? Ever any shudder on launch?
