too many problems with the Ford diesel engine?
I work at a Lincoln store that has traded for a 2010 F250 KING RANCH RED. It has the 6.4L diesel engine. I instantly sent photos to a friend looking for a truck. He said he thought Ford was having trouble with the diesel. I think that was back in 2006-2007...what do ya'll have to say about the 2010?

Same EGR system issues:
EGR cooler fails, which leads to coolant leaking into exhaust, which leads to water entering into cylinders (EGR trying to recycle exhaust gases, which at this moment are mixed with coolant) which leads to severe internal damage, not to mention that ones all coolant is gone, engine will overheat and head gaskets will blow.
The solution to this chain reaction is installing an EGR delete kit, sold on ebay at good price.
Another classic issue in those engines is IPR valve or IPC solenoid failures.
Ones you eliminate the EGR system, both engines become bulletproof.
