Transmission line on a 96 f250 7.3
Anyone know where you can get tranny lines for a 96 7.3 powerstroke they are discontinued through adealer and know parts store around me have aftermarket one or OEM replacements

What I have done in the past,
Remove the ends of the present line(s) from the radiator and trans.
Take them to a NAPA store where they should be able to come up with various lengths of the size tubing with the correct fittings as presented and get the closest combination of lengths that will match your total length required and install them.They should be steel lines to handle the pressure and they can be joined together with the correct fittings. If a little long , you can always make a small loop to accommodate the increased length if you don't have the tubing tools to make the lines the perfect length. Just make sure to anchor the lines so they can't vibrate /rub on anything and rub a hole in the new line.
